Love Yosemite! Vacation Rentals presents Bass Lake Log Home, a clean and cozy mountain cabin near beautiful Bass Lake and world-famous Yosemite. Located within walking distance of The Pines Resort and just 19 miles from Yosemite's south entrance, this warm and inviting retreat offers the perfect base for your mountain adventures. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the home comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests. A few of the great features of this cozy gem include: • Gorgeous wood construction inside and out • Central heating and AC • Wood-burning stove for cozy evenings • Dog friendly • Two Smart TVs (log in to your own streaming accounts) • DVD player • BBQ grill on a spacious deck • Loft living area with foosball table • Free WiFi • Washer and dryer for guest use Bedroom & Bathroom Configuration: Upstairs • Bedroom #1: One King Bed (Sleeps 2) with en suite Bathroom #1 - features a toilet and shower Main Floor • Bedroom #2: One Queen Bed (Sleeps 2) • Bedroom #3: One Full Bed, One Twin Bed (Sleeps 3) • Bathroom #2 is downstairs in a common area - features a toilet and shower Maximum of 7 guests regardless of age. Unauthorized early check-ins may result in an early check-in fee equal to one-half day's rate to compensate staff in accordance with California labor laws. By checking in early without prior approval, the guest acknowledges that the property may not yet be fully ready and agrees not to raise claims related solely to cleanliness, readiness, or amenity availability resulting from the early entry. ​​​​​​​ Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Housekeeping must be able to begin promptly at this time. Kitchen: The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, cups, silverware, and more! Our housekeeping team provides salt, pepper, and a can of cooking spray for your use. Occasionally, previous guests leave behind items such as spices, aluminum foil, or ziplock bags. You're welcome to use any of these, but please note that our team does not check for or restock them, so we can't guarantee what will be available. If these items are crucial to the success of your vacation, we recommend bringing them along to ensure you have everything you need. We try to clearly state this in the listing so there are no surprises. Linens: Did you know that our vacation homes are among the few in the Yosemite area to feature professionally laundered linens? For every reservation, all linens are cleaned in commercial-grade washers using hypoallergenic detergent that's stronger and more effective than typical residential options. They're then pressed at 300°F—nearly twice as hot as a standard home dryer—to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and freshness. It's an extra step we take to provide a truly clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Fireplace/Firepits: (Per Madera County Regulation) No open wood-burning fire pits, bonfires, or campfires are permitted at short-term rentals. Charcoal grills of any type are strictly prohibited. Guests shall not bring any personal grills, barbeques, or other outdoor cooking apparatuses to the short-term rental; only those grills, barbeques, or other outdoor cooking apparatuses provided with the short-term rental are permitted to be used as installed and in the location installed. (Ordinance # 9.32.100) Pets: This property is pet friendly! Please be sure to add your pet to the reservation during the booking process so the $100 pet fee is applied automatically. This is a one-time fee for the entire stay (not a nightly charge) and covers up to two pets, which is the maximum allowed. We kindly ask that pets are kept off the furniture, are not left unattended in the home, and are always leashed when outside in accordance with county ordinance. If you decide to bring a pet after booking, just let our team know and we'll be happy to add it to your reservation. Parking: There is enough parking for 6 cars at this property. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. Pests: Please note that this property is nestled in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains, offering a wonderful connection to nature. While we take regular preventive measures, including professional pest control, occasional visits from local wildlife—such as ants, spiders, insects, mice, or cobwebs—can occur. If you notice any of these during your stay, please let us know so we can promptly address them and ensure your comfort. Neighbors: Please do not trespass on the neighboring properties. We appreciate you respecting the local neighborhood! Maintenance: In case of emergency - Management and Management's representatives and agents have the right to enter the premises, after making reasonable attempts to contact tenants, to make any necessary repairs to maintain the health and safety of the tenants or the property. No Smoking: The Smoke Remediation Fee will be a minimum of $500 for smoking in the house and could be higher depending on the extent of the damage. Great amenities within the home, small pool table, air hockey, etc. Beautiful deck with fire pit and grill made for comfortable time outside on a brisk evening. We had some difficulty connecting to the TVs but ultimately got everything to work. Our only concern was that the sheets in one room were not laundered/clean and visibly soiled. ##### Stephanie N. Although, pictures showing front of house gave the impression the entryway was flat. Its not. Not the best place for older folks because of the stairs, and sloping driveway and walkway to front door. We had are 83 yr old mom with us, thats why we are commenting on these things. B ut overall very nice stay. And would stay there again. ##### Kim M. The amenities were as described on the website. House had been decorated nicely. Very comfortable furniture and well layer out kitchen and family room area. The wrap-around porch was a big plus, along with the gas grill and fire ring set up.We would stay there again. ##### Richard J. House is clean and well kept with all of the amenities of home. Rent management was very responsive to questions and messages. We were able to bring our fur babies, which was a huge plus. It is very close to many hiking trails, and to a beautiful lake where we did fishing and boating, and hung out at the bar there for karaoke night. So fun! We had multiple bear sightings! The week culminated with the MAGICAL wedding for our baby girl! It was an unforgettable vacation! The only downside was the resident across the street who appeared to have issues with VRBO/ABNB renters, and gave us a bad time as soon as we drove up. However, after the initial issue died down, we did not have any further problems the remainder of the week. Would highly recommend a stay here! ##### Gina W.
