Studio designed with lots of natural light and a view. Setting in a rose garden with winding pathways fountains, and seating areas. Tranquil view of Penn Cove crowned by the Olympic mountains and Mount Rainer. Picturesque barns and farmlands on all sides.
Features a full bath with sumptuous linens, Queen bed with sliding door to a private patio, electric fireplace and tv, internet, and comfy loveseat. Kitchen is fully equipped , seating at a table for 2. Open parking in private driveway. Some grocery staples included , but designed for fixing your own meals, or dining at any of our fine restaurants .

A little piece of paradise on Whidbey Island
After a very long driving trip to and from San Francisco from Vancouver, BC, we decided to take the weekend to relax in a VRBO before returning home. We were very fortuitous to find this property and it was ideal for our purposes -- relaxing, very well equipped and surrounded by the beautiful gardens lovingly tended by our hosts, Juanita and Marty. The cottage is tastefully designed and offers the bonus of a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well suited to our desire to eat in with two fridges, a convection toaster oven, hotplate and nice dishes and other kitchen supplies, not to mention the great view from the kitchen windows. It is also a good central location from which to explore the Island. In short, a cosy and quiet resting place before we returned to the usual challenges of catching up after an extended absence from home. Uncharacteristically, we left something behind and Juanita was very quick to offer to send it to us (which was very much appreciated)

Rose garden cottage
Cottage was enhanced by the owner's beautiful gardens - particularly the rose garden right outside the cottage door. I spent long days in class, so enjoyed coming back to this lovely setting. Host was very prompt in replies. Property was clean and attractive. It was a short distance to the Pacific NW Art School where I was spending my days.

The cottage was quite charming. It was the perfect distance between Oak Harbor and Coupeville for our needs. We would definitely stay again. It provided just enough space for the two of us and we enjoyed the solitude it provided when we returned from town. Our hosts were great. They were readily available when I had a few questions.

We really enjoyed our stay at Juanita and Marty‘s place! They were very responsive to our questions when we had them and included many personal touches to our stay (like the homemade muffins that were made for us)! Their place was very convenient to visiting the Coupeville and Oak Harbor area. It was quiet and peaceful. We really liked having the kitchenette area, washer/dryer and fireplace available in the place as well.

Will not disappoint.
Very nice property with all needs taken care of by property owner. Hands-off hospitality, but owner stayed in touch with texting and phone number, if needed. Would return for another stay.
