"It’s was very old and not updated"

"The property is downtown so that was really easy. The room was quite clean. Staff were helpful. Some of the food could be improved upon. The buffet breakfast was not wonderful and bar food was adequate. It would be great if they employed a Chef that was a bit more modern. We also tried to find a charging station for our rental vehicle which was electric and the staff was unsure how to direct us. I would say it's a good property for the area."

"We love the Glidden House and always stay there when in Cleveland. The only negative comment I have is the room we had this time had a door to an adjoining room. We could hear every cough, sneeze, and words of the couple in the adjoining room. I wanted to point this out to the staff, but we had to check out extremely early and no one was at the desk. If you stay there, you will love the area, mansion, and breakfast along with the helpful staff."

"This place is a dive! It looked like the common areas, especially hallways and elevators hadn't been vacuumed in days. There was no info in the room regarding the amenities (how to find the exercise equipment, the pool, nearby restaurants, etc.) I wanted to contact the front the phone gave no directory info regarding how to call whom. The elevators were simply gross - one of the two elevators seemed to have something loose or weak in the floor, which "gave" excessively when one stepped on it. Slovenly - that's a word that gets at the experience of staying in this place! To top it all off, I explored the cost of staying an extra night (after I'd booked but before I got a look at this place!), and the quote was $160! This hotel ain't nowhere NEAR a $160/night value!"
