"We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, the building and the surrounding grounds were absolutely stunning. The host was incredibly welcoming and took the time to provide detailed instructions on how to operate everything, which was particularly helpful since the property is powered by propane and solar. We had zero issues with either energy source during our stay.We were traveling as a large group, and we were really impressed by how well the property was equipped. There was more than enough glassware (wine glasses, champagne flutes, coffee mugs) and ample table settings — something we often struggle with when traveling in large groups.We came prepared with supplies, as we were far from stores, but were pleasantly surprised to find that the rental was stocked with plenty of essentials like bath tissue, paper towels, a first aid kit, and even some basic medications. It made our stay that much more comfortable.We highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat. We’re already planning our next visit! "

"We had an excellent stay at this cottage! The property was well-equipped with everything we needed and more. We especially enjoyed having access to the dock, paddle boards, kayaks, fire pit, and the volleyball court—it made for such a fun filled weekend. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and would gladly stay here again!"

"Everything worked as it should. I stayed there two not-adjacent nights, and the manager (or owner) made a point of making everything to suit me. The bathroom is very small with essentially no place to put toiletries when using them, so I wish it were larger. "

"Visited with my sisters. We tend to play Dominos much of the time, and the table and chairs were great for this. Nice outdoor area and sun room. Very convenient and comfortable overall. We "older generation" folks missed having "regular TV channels with news and ball games for example, but this wasn't a big issue. Host replied quickly to questions. Great stay, lovely accomodation."

"Lovely century home on the river, full of beautiful antiques and interesting collectibles. Comfy bed. Awesome breakfast! Charming host: Ask Gary to share some of the history of the house. Pets welcome. Would definitely return for a relaxing stay that's a little out of the ordinary. "

"Delightful stay. Loved the bird feeder and fireplace. Location is beautiful.Our only wish was that the bedding was cotton. The polyester was extremely full of statical because of the dry air. "
