They informed on arrival that they were fully booked. They informed us that they cancelled our reservations months ago since we did not pay. Our reservation from expedia stated we would pay on arrival. They told us they could not help us. We had to drive 50 minutes out if our way.

Booked only one night. But wished we had stayed longer. Had stayed at a poor Inn in Smiths Cove Nova Scotia the previous 3 nights and were really pleased with our stay at the Chateau St John. What a difference. Breakfast was great albeit a bit canteen like but was of no concern for us. The food and choice were good. Staff were really helpful and we actually felt like a guest. Excellent. Thank you. Would highly recommend it as a convenient place to stay. Appeared well managed with staff who took pride in their work.
