"Overall, our stay was pleasant with many walkable shops and places to eat with a clean and comfortable room. Some cons: the first morning, there was the noise of a truck backing up for around 45 minutes starting before 7 am. While the hotel can’t control this, it was not a pleasant experience. We had a corner room and the inside of the hotel was quiet but the amount of windows in the room wasn’t ideal for me. "The hotel is outdated but it is clean and well-maintained. The staff members are warm and accommodating, especially Tina at the front desk. The breakfast buffet has adequate options which are delicious (waffles, omelets, sausages. etc.). The hotel is close to the Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry and a shuttle bus takes you there for free. I would recommend staying at this hotel. "
