"This is a stunning pub and hotel. Food and surrounds were wonderful. We were there during an unseasonably warm period and a little hot in the rooms otherwise it was perfect!"
"Very disappointing, no hot water in bathroom sink no toilet lid no shower curtain or screen so water covered the floor badly had to mop up with towels. Big gap in front door at top .
Stayed two nights and room was not cleaned so hence no clean towels. When we reported no hot water was told use kettle. Room was not cheap either. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff excellent. Would not go back sorry."
"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not.
After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about.
