The Querque Hotel

"Our room (145) was noisy. It is at the intersection of hallways that lead to parking lot on one end, pool on the other, laundry room, and down to lobby. We were there during Balloon Fiesta and it was loud late into the night and early Morning making sleep difficult. The room was clean (except coffee pot). We were only given 2 towels and no e were available at the pool the first time we went (and most of that day until evening). The pool was also VERY warm to the point of almost being uncomfortably warm. It didn’t even feel cool after coming from the hot tub. The breakfast provided is basically all breads/cereal with a fruit. Staff was friendly and helpful and parking was plentiful. I would go back but definitely request to be on a different floor."

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel

"Wow we loved staying here during the balloon Fiesta! You are north of the park and downtown so it is easy access to the park or "park and ride" and you can by-pass the traffic. But what I loved most is after a long day of sightseeing you can come back and enjoy the casino, the pool and the great and reasonable restaurant selections. Breakfast or dinner we did not have to leave the property once back at our room. Also, on the 6th floor you could see the balloons once launched in the am and pm from a distance when not at the park. Nice place all you need for a great vacation."

"Been to a good number of Motel 6 but this one in ABQ North is the best yet. The motel is very decent, clean and the vibe is just perfect. Would not make you feel like you are staying in a low-cost accommodation. The staff, superb! They greet you every time with all smiles like you would hate to leave the place as there were really nice people."

"The spa is severely understaffed. Was there 5 nights could not get a massage they had no therapist, could not get a facial or manicure because they only have one tech. The men's side of the spa was down completely. But outside of the spa the hotel was wonderful. Clean. Very friendly and helpful staff"

"Property was well maintained and clean. bed was comfortable, friendly staff. Only issue was having room next to elevator and heard mechanical noises like banging during the night. Great location for nearby restaurants, shopping, even walkable. Also great place to stay to catch park and ride buses to Balloon Fiesta. Only a short distance to Coronado Center which is also a shopping mall."

"Positive: -Comfy bed -Clean room, modern -Nice bathroom: shower pressure, bath products, etc. -24 hour coffee in the lobby (no coffee maker in the rooms) and citrus water (cucumber, lemon, etc.) Negative: -LOUD doors, because they're heavy, you hear every slam -DARK rooms, some nightstand lighting but no overhead lighting so very dark. Additionally, the lighting in the bathroom/sink area is a terrible, dark fluorescent, not flattering -No option for fan only (it's either AC or heat) so if you would like to sleep with a fan for white noise or for staying cool, not going to happen -Pets are allowed, so you might hear some dog barks"
