« I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here- my executive room was both spacious and comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable and large and the bedding was beautiful too. Decor is pleasing and warm and the room was well equipped. The bathroom had a bath with shower over it - water was very warm and instant and Elemis toiletries were a treat. Check-in was fast and professional and my bag arrived at my room within 2 minutes. I was on the first floor near the spa - there was no view to speak of but...

« This is my second stay here and it's not my last. This hotel looks unremarkable from the outside but it is beautiful on the inside. Open fires, stunning wood beam ceilings, a fantastic pool and the rooms are spotless. There are spa treatments available but we didn't make use of them this time. The treatments are a bit pricey but i think if you buy a spa package when you're booking your room it works out cheaper, so have a look. The staff in the hotel are all lovely and very friendly. "Second stay here. This time check-in was slick and efficient; last time it was slow. When you are arriving at midnight after a long and delayed journey, the last thing you want is to fill in a form with the same details that should already have been transmitted by Hotel.com / Expedia. For me the price / quality is reasonable compared to other hotels in the immediate vicinity. However I still find the breakfast expensive and with no option to choose just the continental option at a more reasonable price. "
