The building is on an unattractive street next to a parking lot and a garage and inhabited by a few unhoused persons. Still the surrounding area beyond this one block is quite nice. And there is nowhere to buy sodas or snacks nearby. There is an informal restaurant/bar around the corner, but it is cash only and does not open until 9:00 AM.We would most definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.
