« Unique house with a ton of charm. Very clean and had everything we needed. A quick walk to the riverfront and historical sites nearby. »

« It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up. »

« This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

« The cottage was clean and well maintained. There was a short walk to the beach or you could access the free trolley directly across from the cottage to get you where you wanted to go. It was nice not having to drive everywhere. The owners were quick to respond to any questions and provided information about activities occurring in the area over the July 4th weekend. Overall, it was a great trip and I would recommend the cottage to anyone interested in staying in Yorktown. »

« Lovely, cozy cottage experience on the water! Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on balcony. Quiet residential area with proximity to Urbanna and Saluda. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and privacy. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone! It’s that good. »

« This cottage is exactly how it is described. It was very clean! The host was so nice and so accommodating. She assured us that we could walk all over the property and I certainly did. There were deck chairs on the dock and it was just so peaceful. We definitely want to come back. »

« Key Cottage was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were standout fabulous - modern, great water pressure, and spacious. The house is well stocked with just about anything you can imagine needing. We loved the location, on a quiet corner in the cute village of Irvington with so much to walk to and do. The only problem we had was getting into the lockbox when we arrived, but they arranged for someone to run down and help us out. »

« We had an amazing time on the river! We had planned on going out to explore but it was so relaxing and inviting in the home we didn't want to leave. We ending up getting groceries nearby and eating in.The views and river were excellent. I did quite a bit of fishing and if crabbing is your thing they are abundant off of the pier. There is also a BP by Dollar Geraral that has bait. We also took an 8 foot inflatable circular water hammock to float in the river on. Lisa the host was an absolute...
