"Love the convenience and shops around the property."

"I appreciate that I was staying here out of season, so most of the amenities described weren't actually available at this time of year. As such, there are things which regulars would know already about this lodge, but as someone booking at the last minute, I encountered a number of unhappy "surprises" when I arrived - starting with the fact that there were no staff on site. With no staff, there was also nothing around to eat, and they didn't even leave me a towel or bedding. Was somewhat unfortunate that I was placed on the floor with the Womens' toilets, meaning I had to go downstairs, through an empty wing, to reach the toilets."

"The Granlibakken Tahoe resort had more features than most resorts but without the extra resort fees. All the essentials of a hotel were provided. Staff was attentive to my needs. Recent remodel here give the property a fresh look and feel. Although there are no elevators and most buildings are split level you can park your car in front of most rooms and still have reasonable privacy and view from your room albeit with a few steps. We stayed in the summer and found it comfortable without AC."

"Everything was very clean, the breakfast was very tasty and basically all you can eat with several choices and options, the pool was very clean even after a very busy weekend with a full pool most of the weekend, the front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable on check in and incidentals during our stay. The only issue that came us was that I had booked through hotels.com and they could not find my payment even with my receipt and so tried to charge me a second time for a 4 night stay. It took some discussion and proof on my behalf to get it worked out and get my bill settled at the end. If I had not been paying attention I would have been charged $1300 again."
