"I wouldn’t put a dog in this hotel. The rooms are in poor condition, the bed is like a mortuary slab with a cheap topper and they seem to have found some innovative techniques for bed sheets that involve processing fibreglass into thin off white sheets. Other guests on my floor were running some sort of door slamming competition until 3am on all three nights I stayed. When you mention this to the reception staff they look at you like you’ve just handed them some particularly complex maths homework before shrugging their shoulders and sitting back down. Will not be back"

"Excellent location for the train to Paris (40mins) or Disney (15mins). 5 min walk to the Torcy train station. Based behind a small entertainment complex (few restaurants, a subway, pharmacy, cinema). Emailed re an upgrade a few days before and no response from the hotel. Check in was easy, room was basic but clean, bathroom was nice. No English channels on the (small) tv. WiFi was good, though didn’t use it much. Evenings walking back from the train station at 10-11.30pm were mainly still busy and felt safe enough walking through the entertainment complex (people still milling about, people still in the restaurants) however one night (a Monday) when it was 11.30pm getting off the train it was very quiet and the odd person just wandering about so didn’t seem that safe? Nothing happened, just be wary that the area might be quiet if walking back alone, as I was. Top tip- buy water or soft drinks from the spar just outside the train station before going to Disney - 50c for a water, €1.50 for a bottle of Diet Coke compared with €4-6 at Disney."

"Hotel is new and clean. Room was clean so was the bathroom. Beds were ok, pillowes were flat asked for an extra one but it never came and they said ee could.lulely not get 2. Breakfast was vomplete and good. Had eggs and bacon and lastries, croussants etc, cereals, juices tea and coffee etc. Close to the station and lots of restaurants. Air conditioning was weak but the room was not a bad temperature. Parking is 10 euro for underground if there isn't a spot in the lot which is very limited. Would recommend and would stay again."

"Breakfast was mediocre.. some staff at the main desk were ok Except for one which we found to be very rude. Not much to see or do. Burger place less than 5min walk which saved us more than once. Cleaning staff always come before we are even awake almost always before 9am"

"Loved the fact the hotel room was spacious and air conditioned. It was a real relief to go back to a nice cool room for some well deserved rest after Disneyland in a heatwave! Room itself is fine, as described, with fridge and some equipment for serving a light meal. No tea towels though so bring your own, or can request extra towel from reception. My wallet got stolen on the train, but the receptionist on duty at 11:30pm was not very knowledgeable or in any way inclined to help apart from issuing a new key card, so I spent 2 hours trying to file a French police report with google translate, when I could have gone to the train station ticket office to report it, which would have been much quicker. The host is the source of local knowledge for travellers, and this attitude contravenes expectations, hence I did not give higher rating."

"Arrived at 2pm for check-in and was told our rooms weren't ready. Reception tried calling housekeeping and claimed they were unavailable, despite the entire team being visibly gathered in the bar area a short distance away celebrating a birthday. Not a great look when guests are waiting during the check-in period. 10 minutes later both rooms were suddenly ready. Unfortunately, the problems continued. We booked two rooms and neither had working air conditioning despite outside temperatures reaching 32°C. The rooms were around 26°C, humid and uncomfortable, making sleep difficult. When I raised this with reception at 2am, they seemed surprised despite multiple recent reviews mentioning the same issue. After a poor night's sleep, we were moved to different rooms the next morning where the air conditioning worked, although it still wasn't particularly cold. I was offered complimentary breakfast as compensation, but this hardly made up for paying for rooms that lacked a basic advertised amenity. The rooms appear recently renovated but are very small, poorly lit and have a noticeable musty smell. Overall, the hotel feels much closer to a budget motel than a 3-star property. Breakfast at around €16 per person is poor value. Coffee comes from a syrup-based machine, the hot food selection is limited and appeared to have been sitting out for some time, and there are only a few pastries, cold meats and yoghurts available. You're far better off finding a local café."
