Nimrod Vacation Packages

Room was not as expected, especially for a casino. There was a small refrigerator on the floor. You had to literally get on your knees to use. And refrigerator turned on but did not work. Room was supposed to have a queen size bed. Mattress much smaller. Requested room service. Towels were changed, but during 3 days sheets were not. Carpeting not really dirty but not clean. Staff at desk were ok but not pleasant. The girls serving drinks in Harrah's casino were not friendly at all. In fact they would walk right by as my wife played the slots. And we tip every time. In one instance we asked for a coke and water when she returned my wife had a five dollar bill. She asked for singles so she could give her $2. and the lady seemed to be insulted. She walked away and my wife called miss, miss. Am I being petty. Are we supposed to give $5 tips. The concierge sent many texts in case we needed help for reservations, etc.. I asked, practically begged for any type of amenities and he texted back; Go to front desk and ask for manager. On Friday we're in the airport and I get a text; you have a $10. freeplay to be used by 10 pm. Really !! Here in Detroit we frequent MGM. Caesars has a lot to be desired in comparison.

Room was clean, spacious with a wonderful canal view.

Everything was great

Staff was courteous, room was clean. Paying the $40 amenity fee per room upon arrival was unexpected. The water pressure in the shower was a trickle, barely any water pressure at all (hard to get shampoo out). Toilet ran all night long. The hotel ran out of self parking spots so we had to park across the street in a dirt lot which wasn’t ideal. The restaurant was great!
