This riverside city offers excellent cycling paths along the St. Lawrence and charming local shops in the historic downtown. Explore the Musée des Religions for fascinating exhibits or catch performances at the Centre des arts populaires during summer festivals.

I highly recommend a stay at The 100 Laurent b&b. In fact, I found it to be one of those places you discover that makes you reconsider reviews you've written in the past, wishing that perhaps you should not have been quite as enthusiastic and generous.
The 100 Laurent really is a lovely place to stay. The house is wonderful, built as the home of one of the area's early industrialists. The rooms, coming off either side of the central hallway upstairs and down, are roomy, with large windows...
