"We stayed in one of the cabins for two nights at the beginning of March. Cabin was clean and room comfortable. Only two problems. Couldn’t get TV to work and front desk was closed. Fortunately security guard came and got it sorted after speaking to tech guy. The other problem was cabin was freezing when we are at 4:30. We immediately turned on heat but it took to 9:00 the next morning before temperature in the room reached 70 degrees. Which meant the very loud fan ran all night. Given they knew we coming, they could have turned on heat to get the room warm. Cannot speak to any food/amenities as nothing is open in March. Won’t open until April. The front desk person was nice enough but not much help with recommendations for food places. The security guard was very helpful and friendly and suggested several very good restaurants. That was our only interaction with staff. "

"No staff there when i got there waited a long time ..then had to call motel # fir someone to come check me in..elevator stopped uneven to the floor big step off...room was clean but breakfast was not satisfactory "

"This was a quick stay in the area to visit Babcock State Park, so needed nothing fancy. The room did have a stale smell when we walked in, not smoke but just not good smell. The carpet appeared to be dirty in some areas like not vacuumed but overall room was clean. The hotel was in a good area with other businesses around and convenient to the highway. The breakfast was decent enough and pretty standard for a free breakfast. Parking is on site and free. "

"Not only was the place, very welcoming and beautiful inside and out, but the location is perfect for exploring the natural wilderness and reconnecting with a natural world. But beyond that the cabin itself was amazing. It had everything we needed, and it was just perfect in one word."

"Great weekend in this peaceful paradise. This is the perfect spot if you just want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. Residence had everything I needed and the hot tub and fire pit make it a perfect retreat. If you want to get out and about; New River Gorge and Summersville are both close by. I will definitely be back!"
