"We stayed at Wagtail for 9 nights. Cousins rented Swift across the way. We had a large family gatherIng over the Christmas holidays. It was the first time seeing grandparents since the pandemic, and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer cottage. We had all the amenities we needed for big family dinners and cozy evening drinks. Such a lovely setting. Kids enjoyed the pool and games room, as well. EV charging port was a huge bonus."
"Fantastic stately home with lovely gardens. We had the cheapest room on the third floor and it was fine. The evening meal was ok but not fantastic. There is plenty to do and must be a golfers paradise.
The ground floor rooms were magnificent "

The staff are exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The little personal touches that they did made the whole stay truly magical. To putting up birthday banners as they were aware it was a birthday trip to the candle in the morning in our weetabix. The food was also top quality and the whole experience was...

"Very friendly staff, excellent food and very good Spa facilities "
A verified traveller from Tadworth stayed at Ilsington Country House Hotel & Spa
"The property was gorgeous! The room was large and the bathroom updated. Staff were really helpful and the food was very good. It IS very remote so if you are going as a destination to really use the amenities-golf course, pool, spa, etc., it was great. We had hoped to use it as a base to travel out from but the roads were so narrow and rather treacherous getting in, we didn’t feel like driving back and forth to other locations in Devon and Cornwall, which was too bad.
