Just a short 10min walk to restaurants down the street and 15min walk to Easton Beach. 10min ride to anywhere in Newport. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Lorraine shared great information before our stay and was very helpful. The house was very clean and had the basic things we needed. We all brought our bikes and were able to keep them in the basement under house which was perfect. The four bedrooms, 2 with king and 2 with queen were spacious and clean with lots of closet and drawer space. The living room couch was very large and comfortable. The outside deck table was perfect for us to eat outside unless it was raining as only part of it was covered. We enjoyed biking around, walking on the cliff walk and spending the days at the beach. We were able to walk to several restaurants with outside seating and also get ice cream locally for the kids at Clementines. We were easily able to avoid the crowds and wore masks while in public. We were only a 5 minute drive to the heart of Newport but preferred our area where it was quieter and less crowded. In order to get parking you needed to get to the beach before 11:00 or after 3:30\. We could have biked or walked to Easton beach as well. This was a perfect house for our families and we would highly recommend it and the area to others. ##### Hayley L. We hosted a girls weekend (7 women) and it was absolutely perfect. To start, Lorraine and Dave are extremely kind and accommodating. They offered us an early check-in and late check-out which was so helpful. Lorraine also checked in with us via text during our stay to make sure we had what we needed. Both Lorraine and Dave had helpful recommendations for Middletown and Newport. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean! I have never stayed in a cleaner rental. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed and has plenty of parking. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels and linens. Lorraine left us coffee and ice in the freezer which was such a plus. I cannot thank them enough! The home is gorgeous, nicely decorated and well maintained. It is located just a few minutes from downtown Newport. Dave was a pleasure to work with and super accommodating. Check in was easy, the place was spotless, plenty of room and the communication with the owner was great. If we needed anything we were able to get in touch via txt or phone. This house is in a fantastic neighborhood, close to everything, but gives some space from the traffic in Newport. The deck is fabulous to have breakfast or sit out to watch a sunset.
