"This hotel was an immediate breath of fresh air. The room was gorgeous with ocean views, clean, and I knew I'd be able to relax. My only complaints: I didn't find the pillows to be very nice. Also, the room temperature control is next to the door, so if you need to adjust middle of the night... well, you'll be up and down like I was. I docked one star for cleanliness because the rooftop restaurant/pool area needed better attention. But overall, I absolutely recommend this hotel in Colombo - amazing value for the price! "

"The staff at this hotel are exceptional; I've never encountered such helpful service during my travels through over 30 countries. They go above and beyond to assist. When I booked a car and the driver was delayed, the staff quickly ordered another one through their phone and guided the driver exactly where to go. Despite being a little late for our intercity train, their support was outstanding—they even texted me to confirm I boarded the train. I didn’t miss it. That’s how caring they are. They are truly some of the best staff in the world.😍😍"

"We stayed there for Eight days. It was great experience with old world charm and modern amenities. Rooms were very clean; Staff was very friendly and polite. Specially the "Verandah" staff was very attentive, and Breakfast and dinner was great with ever changing menus. It is unfair to mention few names as a complement because it is injustice done for others who served us with great care and friendliness. As a whole our stay was memorable. We will definitely stay at Galle Face Hotel on our next visit to Sri Lanka."

"We had a really good stay at Weligama Bay Marriott. Our stay really raised the bar for our future hotel experiences. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking, and there was very easy beach access for swimming and surfing. The hotel staff was really good and helpful as well, including the front desk staff, our concierge Nuwani, Kids Club supervisors Rashmi and Wishmi, as well as all the staff at the Weligama Kitchen whose names we couldn't catch. Weligama Kitchen - The breakfast buffet included a variety of cuisine, everything was fresh and delicious compared to many places we have been in and beyond Sri Lanka. Everything was clean, and the service was impeccable. Kids Club - Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the space was well managed and very clean. The activities for the kids were age appropriate, and there was a variety of activities and a good selection of toys to keep the kids happy and occupied. Pools - Well maintained and clean, we had no reservations about taking our kids there and having a good time. Related amenities like showers, public bathrooms, towel service were all very reliable. Overall, a great place for families with little kids. Would certainly visit again. Thanks to everyone at the Marriott who helped make our stay a memorable one."
