This is one of Southern California's best kept secrets! The charm and beauty of this hotel is a must experience for everyone. We often stay at this Newport Beach Gem, and it never disappoints. The staff is first class, and the location is amazing. Access to the restaurant below, the beach pier, the boardwalk, and the ocean are all in one place. On a scale of 1 to 10, we rate this place an 11. - MC

Because it is a more vintage hotel in a historic building I did not think it was going to be as clean as it was. I actually just traveled to Las Vegas and I would put their standards right up there with some of the nicest hotels in Vegas. It is rough there is no service and everything around the beach closes about 10 PM unless you want to get a drink at a bar. Location is gorgeous. Parking was kind of a pain.

We loved everything about our stay. The location is second to none and the rooms are cute and the staff amazing. We loved their deluxe continental breakfast as well. It was robust and healthy. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel was great! Didn’t ask for a better location literally across from Newport Beach. Staff was very helpful and even called. us to let us know our room was ready early, after we had dropped off our luggage to start our adventures due to an early flight. I would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Amazing hotel and extremely helpful and friendly staff!! Clean and surprisingly quiet for it's location. Each room is unique, while still keeping it's historic charm. They offer a breakfast, that most hotels do not, that has a great variety to appease all diets. The rooftop view is incredible along with the rooms. So lucky to have found this wonderful Inn.

Excellent location adjacent to the Newport Beach Pier. Continental breakfast was decent. Lost power (but so did the entire few blocks on Wednesday) --not their fault. B&B has an elevator but also a bunch of small stairs. Location is quite noisy with nearby bars and the early morning Street Sweeping. Easy walk to the beach. Need to invest in some more beach chairs for their guests. Hotel has off street park which is available for $30 a night. Lots of local eateries very close by. Will be back

Location was wonderful. But…the surrounding area was really loud until 2:00am. I get that’s part of the area. But on a Monday was a huge surprise. The room was clean but was expecting it to be more updated for the money. Needs a facelift. I was disappointed.

Everything was amazing. We loved how you could just walk out of your room right onto the balcony or beach. The staff was very helpful and the room we stayed in was stunning. My only note would be that the canopy above the bed blocked any kind of airflow onto the bed, so no matter how cold you had the A/C, you couldn’t really feel it when your laying down which made it really hot.

This was our first time staying at the Doryman, we’ve had several family members stay here through the years. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was great and the location is awesome. We did have to pay a nightly parking fee, but knowing we could come and go as we please and not lose our spot, made it worth it.

Rooftop was a great place to watch sunset and the room was clean and beautiful. The restaurant at the hotel, 21 Oceanfront is a great steakhouse with live music. Location is great and I’d definitely go back!
