"We had several issues. We arrived Friday afternoon for my nephew's graduation. His parents arrived approximately 1:30 am Friday morning and was given Room 210. Upon arrival, we were given Room 212 and my son was given Room 211across from us. Entered Room 212, there was an odd odor, water marks on ceiling and some areas on wall. Toilet seat was peeling and walls dirty. The bathtub appeared to be recently renovated. However, the showerhead was recently replaced and mold from old showerhead. Room 211 was disgusting. behind bed water marks on wall and several areas on ceiling. bathroom was simply dirty. A horrible odor in the room. He told the front desk and Allelujay changed the room to Room 214. Again, same issues and bathroom tub was deplorable. My son took a pic, showed to Sean who had just come on duty. He was very accommodating and changed to Room 208. At that point, we were running late for graduation, rushed off. Once we returned, spoke with Sean, he apologized, and told us tomorrow morning, John, the assistant manager will be there when we checked out. I spoke with John and he said the manager Kim will be there on Tuesday and they were having a big meeting and our issues will be discussed. He promised I will hear from him. When booked, only business rooms were available Issue-- I was charged for a "Business Room" and John said he had never heard of the hotel having a business room. My wife and I have severe allergies. All we wanted was a good night sleep"

"Breakfast does not offer much. The staff is very friendly. Carpet needs replacing but the place is clean."

"Had a great stay- close to the Watkins Glen race track. Place very clean and cozy. The view from the porch is beautiful. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. "

"Best boutique hotel I have stayed at. Clean, comfortable, amenities were excellent. Coffee was local brew and fabulous. It will be the only place I stay in Ithaca when I return to see my daughter."

"Weird vibe"

"The location was very good for us. But the property is pretty dated. The room was clean and the bathroom had be recently updated. The bed was comfortable. Lots of parking spaces. It seemed like each time we left the property, we had to reconnect to the wifi. Kinda of irritating. Pricing was reasonable compared to many other hotels in the area."

"There was not much choice"

"Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room had a very strong smell of whatever air freshener they use to cover odors. The windows don’t open, so I couldn’t even air it out. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the shower were almost completely empty. I guess they didn’t check any of them. Parking is a bit of a headache and inconvenience. You have to have your ticket validated every time you leave. Coffee machine in lobby was broken. That was the biggest downfall for me. Walking distance to everything. There were pros and cons. But I wouldn’t stay here again. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area that I would rather choose again."

"Apparently we were assigned the handicapped access room (not requested) it was at the very end of a long hallway which is used by the staff as the laundry room (always full of carts of clean and dirty laundry, to the point it is difficult to walk; certainly would be inaccessible if you were in a wheel chair). Breakfast marginal, most foods are in wall mounted dispensers, no variety or change from day to day. Lots of parking though."
