It was converted to a single a few years ago by the previous owner who redid the floor plan and added all the modern conveniences including an awesome kitchen, master bath with shower AND jacuzzi tub, large laundry room with sink and lots of storage, and a wine fridge in the pantry. We are very close to the famous Audubon Zoo and Audubon Park as well as the Mississippi River view at The Fly. Walk to Whole Foods and dine at some of New Orleans' world class neighborhood restaurants. Please inquire about stays of all duration. We also have other great properties in town. Gary is a wonderful, responsive host who was available and quick to respond to any questions. The house is beautiful - incredibly spacious and well-appointed - anything you might need was there. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable - and everything was spotless! The house is in a lovely neighborhood in the Garden District, walkable to many restaurants and shops. I cannot say enough about this house or it's owners. Gary was more than willing to work with us when our flight was delayed - even willing to allow us to return after checkout if needed. Right from the start the host met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house so we knew where everything was. He even had the Saints game on to make it feel like home from the start. He lives nearby and let us know he would be around if we had any concerns. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and his front porch invited us to hang out at the end of the evening with a glass of wine.
