Cool spot
Older historic property with plenty of room, and it is close to the quarter. We had no problem walking over or taking rideshares to where we wanted to go. Something to note - Bring a white noise machine. The highway does get pretty noisy, and it seemed like people liked to use the main road outside to race in the evening. We brought a white noise machine with us and that helped drown out the noise immensely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Mardi Gras vacation at this rental property! Nestled in a vibrant, urban neighborhood, conveniently located close to the expressway, this beautiful and spacious property met all of the quintessential needs. Plenty of bathrooms and space to stretch out for all 8 of our guests. We were even greeted with a charcuterie and a king cake upon arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the front porch which was enclosed by a magical wall of bamboo. This is the perfect place for a large group who wants an authentic New Orleans experience.

Amazing time
We had a great experience staying here. Lauren and Nichole were amazing. They were super helpful from the day we booked to the day we checked out. They let me mail shirts to their office so that I didn’t have to fly down with them and they even went the extra mile neatly hanging them up in preparation for my friends and I before we arrived. We asked about early check in and they worked with me to make sure we had a place to put our bags and when we were short a bed they helped us out with an additional room. The house was also located in a great location and it was a manageable walk each night from the house to the heart of the French quarter and a quick cab ride to restaurants and parades. I feel like we couldn’t have asked for more from the house and 1000% couldn’t have asked for more from our hosts. We would definitely stay here again. 10 out of 10! -Kevin

Excellent Stay in NoLa!
Property was as listed, beautiful architecture, well appointed. Everything we needed. About a 15/20 min stroll to the French Quarter down Esplanade and all it has to offer, easy and quick to get an Uber if you don't feel like walking. On and Off I-10 is easy access, grocery store only a couple blocks away and little convenience store steps away. One note ... this is NEW ORLEANS! Not a Disney version or Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville version. It's the real deal with all that comes with it (and the better for it). The smells, sounds and sights are what makes NO so interesting. Will def stay here again the next time we get back. Cheers!

Bachelor Party
It was our first time in NOLA and I couldn’t imagine a a more suitable place to stay. The house has all your basic needs including A/C! It’s a 20 min walk to bourbon but we just called a cheap Uber there and back. We had no issues with the neighborhood.

Great House
While the noise from the highway is loud at times, this house was gorgeous inside. The rooms are spacious and the management was on-site for check in to walk us through.

Satisfied with our stay
Overall, we had a good stay at this house. The house is a beautiful old house that has been newly renovated. It has lots of comfortable beds and plenty of space. For the negatives: -This house wasn’t advertised as a duplex but there is another rental that is connected to this property (there is a door off the kitchen that is closed off). The people in the other rental were so loud and since it’s an old house noise travels easily- most of us didn’t sleep well Saturday night because of this. -Although this house had a security system, it didn’t feel like it was in the safest part of town. We ubered everywhere and were careful so it all ended up fine, but just be aware of that. -The downstairs bathroom’s shower goes from very hot to very cold and doesn’t have an in between temperature. This took some getting used to but everyone managed just fine. Overall, the check in and check out process was easy and the location was a short uber ride to everywhere we wanted to go, so we enjoyed our stay.

Not a good neighborhood
Understanding that the house is over 100 years old, I can live with floors squeaking and being uneven. The owner put effort in updating the bathrooms and kitchen but did nothing about the other rooms. Electricity went on and off for several hours at a time for no apparent reason. I did not spend thousands of dollars to get a home like this. Most of all, location, location, location...this is NOT. I can accept the fact that it's next to the highway but I cannot accept the fact that it's in a bad neighborhood. Even though the manager told us that it's because it's mardi gras, there was drag racing every night. The area is not not safe to walk out at night. and there were cops around all the time. I've lived in NYC and worked in dangerous areas so I know what a hood looks like. I would not walk to the areas they mentioned that are close by. It took me a long time to stop getting mad about the quality and location of the home, especially because I paid thousands of dollars to stay there. Truly disappointed in the home and location.
