The staff when you check in are extremely welcoming and helpful. We were only here for one night at the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. The room is simple and basic but clean. It is a good location if you are using the ferry. You are able to park in front of your room which makes it convenient for packing.

I have never written a review like this and I take some responsibility for not having read recent reviews but this place was terrible. It is in the process of being built and not suitable for guests. Nice idea but location next to a very noisy highway and not on the water as described. The dome itself was large and bright but not very clean (other peoples rubbish under the bed and pillow cases left in the room). The plastic of the domes gave off fumes which aggravated my asthma. The pillows were terrible and the beds and bedding cheap and not good (foam that made you sweat immediately). No privacy at the door which is glass. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The toilet block is not complete and only two open. Both filthy and moldy (one had no vent and a dripping shower). There was a coffee machine but no cups. The hot tub was not complete and the swimming pool was an out of ground thing not much bigger than a paddling pool (but given the standard of hygiene elsewhere we did not go near it). The deck faced the toilet block and there were no chairs. We left after a night and requested a refund of our second night which the manager agreed to. He provided some helpful local advice. It just seemed this had not been properly thought through the description of the place as luxurious is completely misleading and the care taken over preparation of the place was non existent.

Nice location and functional property. AC seemed not to work in our unit so it was a hot night. Furnishings, towels and beds were a bit tired, and the bedroom had a slightly funky smell. But decent value and stay was pleasant overall.

Our family of 5 enjoyed MacPherson house immensely! It was clean and spacious. We were able to look on site but we opted for the restaurant on property which was Brillant. We will be back.
