Pros: The staff was great, rooms were clean, decor was nice, a/c worked. Cons: the elevator and room was super small. Like abnormally small. Made me a little claustrophobic when I was in the elevator. The valet parking was expensive (50 dollars) especially when you are expected to tip- and you should). There was a weird hidden fee of 24 dollars so the 75 dollar deposit went out the door. Started out affordable but got too expensive too quick especially for what it is.

I have stayed at the Welk before, & enjoyed myself...But this trip, there were a couple of incidents that made it less than perfect. A member of my party wanted to use the grill located about 20 feet away from my villa. I had called 3 times(twice 1 day & once the next)to the Maintenance department for that grill to be cleaned. It was never cleaned!! But a Welk rep did come out to take a picture, why? I have no clue. On one of the times I'd called, the rep said there was a miscommunication because there was a report that someone was using the grill. This caused my party to completely change our dinner menu! Perhaps with the Summer season fast approaching, it will be wise to have a system in place that creates a ticket for each request, then make sure to follow up with the guest!! Don't make assumptions!!! Also, the sliding Screen door from the living room onto the balcony should be checked/ oiled. The screen was EXTREMELY difficult to open and close! Again...these two hiccups made our trip less than what I came to expect from the Welk.

Loved staying here! So many activities for all the fam

This hotel was everything I was looking for. The quality and sheer luxury and amenities were truly astounding, especially for the price. It was honestly quite a royal experience. I was extremely impressed with the view and the rooms and everything provided for me. I wish I had stayed here the whole time. The views were immaculate and despite being right by the airport you couldn’t hear a single plane from inside the room. It really was profound how comfortable and serene this experience was despite being so close. I loved that there was free parking available and the access to laundry and other conveniences was a huge benefit. My check-in process was quick and simple and they let me check in early too which was a huge win. I even got a free upgrade! I was overall just very impressed with this location especially considering how welcoming and attentive they were. I come from a diverse and unique background and I was so thankful they treated me with respect and care.
