"Property was clean and well kept. Desk staff was amazing. Room was clean and had nice colors. Sheets are microfiber which is not my preference. It was very hot. Pillows were pretty flat. Bed is a bed in a box which was better than some hotel/motels. The one thing that will cause my not to stay there in the summer again is the air conditioner is in the bathroom and does not cool the room very well. Desk did give me a fan which helped. We stayed in room 3 and the door didn't securely shut unless you turned the lock know. The first night we couldn't watch TV. They should give instructions on how to work door lock and how to work the tv. Overall very pleased. Will stay here again in winter or spring."

"I considered this property to be well maintained. Our room was cute and decorated nicely. We stayed in the suite and it had a small table, a couch and extra room in the bathroom, with two sinks and extra cupboard space. I liked that we had glass cups for our coffee, along with a coffee pot and a few additional things that you don't typically find in a hotel room. The outside area was well maintained and the location felt safe. We would consider staying here again."

"This was a beautiful hotel and a great location for our three day stay in Buena Vista for my family of four. The beds were very comfortable and the staff very friendly. The onsite restaurant was also very good and not too outrageously priced. However, I do feel like some functionality was sacrificed for aesthetics. For example, our room in the chateau had no comfortable place to sit other than the bed. It would be nice to have a club chair or upholstered bench so that all four of us could watch a movie. I also feel like our room should be cleaned during our stay at $400 per night. There’s also no ice access for the chateau rooms - you have to ask the front desk. The parking lot is tiny so we had to park off site a few times. Overall it’s a beautiful place, and we did enjoy our stay. The nespresso makers in the rooms were a nice bonus."

"thankfully the property was beautiful, clean & easily accessible as described by host. there were many items left broken listed below:the lid to the coffee pot barely stays on .the dishwasher door falls openthe right wooden knob to the closet in the master bedroom comes off when used.the screen door to the sliding glass door falls offa decorative garden knome in the fenced area of the yard was smashedthe fence had several holes in it where our dog could get out.the entire upstairs was roped off deneying us access. the only other thing i would recommend mentioning in the ad is that there is no air conditioning. i know that is common in colorado. (but us from out of state are not used to it)."
