"Stayed here over Labor Day Weekend with my girlfriend, and this place is so convenient for the beach (a 2-3 minute walk directly across the street) or for other activities up and down OBX. The only thing I might suggest is more utensils for those who prefer eating in rather than going out to eat. Otherwise, I would happily stay here again if I'm in Nags Head in the future!"

"The ground are very well kept and I love the landscaping. They made use of the native plants. It a two minute walk to the beach. You can't see but a little glimpse of the ocean from the cottage because there is a sand dune protecting the property in front of the cottage. The sand dune blocks the view, but I understand the necessity. During our stay the water came very close to the cottage. "We had a fantastic stay at the Nags Head Retreat! The central location was convenient for a quick trip to Duck Donuts or the beach! My 10-year old loved the backyard oasis and the outdoor shower was much appreciated for sand removal. Immie was a fantastic host - with a binder of suggestions for local must-dos, great communication, and a big thanks for fulfilling my special request for sand toys! 10/10! Thank you!!!"

"Great beach cottage. Much larger then it looks in pictures. We had the sea view 3 bedroom. We couldn’t believe how big it was and it has a upstairs that had huge bedrooms. Internet wasn’t working when we got there but, they sent someone to fix it right away. Nothing bad to say. Perfect home on the beach. Loved morning coffee on the balcony. Parking under cottage. Each cottage has parking for at least 2 cars. Great location. "

"Great cottage steps from the beach. Location was perfect! Size was perfect for our family of 4. More than enough space inside cottage and great front porch and back porch with dining table. Very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. Some things could have made the stay easier/better: not providing linens means a lot of extra things to pack; beds not the most comfortable; no curtains so bedrooms get very bright very early (not great for the littles). "
