"For a motel I think this place was decent. It was very close to the beach which is what drove us to decide on this property. The pool wasn’t bad the first day we were there as there was nobody else in it. It wasn’t kept clean though so a lot of floaters in it including a cigarette butt. We didn’t have any issues with the room itself. It was great for us since we had a 17 and 22 year old with us so they shared the one room and my husband and I had the other room with the oceanfront balcony. There isn’t a ton in Kure Beach but Carolina Beach was about 10 minutes away and Wilmington was about 30 so we never had an issue finding food or things to do. This late in the season there weren’t many people around - I assume since schools had already started. In general, if we were to go back to Kure Beach I would definitely consider staying here again."
