Muncie Vacation Packages

The property is inside a park, so we had to pay to enter (not a problem but didn’t see that mentioned anywhere before we arrived) The place was nice but dated. The pool was nice, but cold. The lady that checked us in didn’t know what she was doing so it took twice as long as it needed to. We were told we would get the park fee refunded and still haven’t. We have a random charge that no one we have talked to can explain or resolve for us, and the manager still hasn’t called us back to resolve.

It is very cute with exactly the vibe you’d expect for a somewhat rural B&B- antique furniture, Longaberger baskets, etc. I unfortunately didn’t get to partake of the breakfast because of my schedule for mom’s weekend. And I think I missed out on the highlight. It smelled amazing. Overall it was a nice, quiet and friendly stay, but there were some quirky things that took away from the experience a bit. First was the temperature. I understand they can’t make it perfect for everyone, but it was stuffy and hot in my room. When asked to adjust the temperature, I was told ok I’ll turn it on but only for a bit. It never really improved. Confessesion- I turned it down myself before I went to bed and it felt much better. The shower was small and the showerhead sprayed out at an angle in such a way that it was bothersome and in my face. With no room to move away from it, it was a bit of a struggle. I also found out too late that they don’t provide conditioner. My curly hair was pretty angry about that predicament the next day. And finally, the bed was squeaky and the toilet kept running. With all that going on, I didn’t feel as relaxed and at ease and I would have liked. ☺️ I would still stay there again though. But I’ll bring my conditioner next time!

Lovely place. A little musty but clean and the people are wonderful. A very unique property in a quieter area of Bloomington!

Beautiful, sophisticated property! The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable, and the shower is amazing! Can’t wait to return.
