Op een prima plek gelegen; een mooi en karakteristiek hotel. Wij werden direct vriendelijk ontvangen en begeleid naar onze prachtige kamer. Het hotel is fantastisch ingericht en schoon. Onze kamer was netjes evenals al het aanwezige (beddengoed, handdoeken, douche, toilet e.d.. Naast de douche was er een prachtig ligbad in de doucheruimte! Parkeren kun je voor de deur! De volgende dag ontbeten en dat was ook prima. Tot slot nog even een tip: ben je wat gevoelig voor geluid; dan een kamer aan de achterkant boeken. Al met al een fantastisch hotel: een dikke 10!!!

I wrote to the host multiple times and they never responded. The house keepers were nice and the location is close to where you might want to tour, but beyond that there wasn’t anything redeeming. In regards to the communication, it was so bad that I had to help some other people checking in to apartment 5 because the host did not send them check in details. They asked the restaurant downstairs to contact the host and then I helped them into their room. The place has no elevator and no A/C only heating. The futon is very uncomfortable and needs a mattress topper to avoid the hard part that goes all the way down the futon. The refrigerator had been missed during cleaning, but luckily the cleaners were there and took care of it promptly, they were very nice and more helpful than the host. The information book inside the room is also out of date. Different number of plates and utensils, we mentioned this to the cleaners upon arrival. Didn’t realize it until I began to sleep the first night, but the duvet smelled like body odor. I imagine it’s because they clean the cover, but don’t often wash the inner duvet. But during the summer especially when it’s been hot they should be washing it every stay. Due to the lack of A/C the windows had to be left open all night. Problem is there are both homeless and people who drank too much on the street yelling and fighting each other. Neighbors also yelling all night. No window screens led to mosquitoes biting us. The place was a nightmare

Friendly and helpful staff, sufficient room space, comfortable restaurant seating and amenities area. Convenient location and transportation availablity to cruise terminal. Bathroom fixtures replace necessary. Overall need renovation.
