The hosts met us as we arrived and were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable accommodations in an historic home. We enjoyed our stay! Very close everything, never had to use the car. I highly recommend staying at Adora Inn.

Loved our 2-nite stay at Adora. John and Arthur were exceptional hosts and a great source of local recommendations. Room Treetop was spacious bright and super clean. Big soaking tub was a special treat. And the best part was starting each morning w John’s phenomenal gourmet breakfasts!

A delightful gem in an amazing little town. John and Arthur were perfect hosts. The inn is just a two minute walk to Mt Dora’s historic downtown. Could not ask for a better location or better hosts. This charming inn is over 100 years old but it has all the modern amenities and just a relaxing ambience. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Will stay here again. The Adora Inn and Mt Dora… could not ask for a better combination.

We had an overnight visit at the Adora Inn on 2/11. Not being a regular B&B user, I was a little apprehensive. I must say that our experience at the Adora Inn was fantastic. We were greeted by Arthur, our host, upon our arrival. He made us feel very welcome and provided us with a wealth of information regarding places to go in Mount Dora. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The Inn is perfectly located in a quiet residential area that is within a very short walk of all the shops and restaurants. We never had to use our car until it was time to go home. We were served a delicious breakfast on our day of departure. I look forward to visiting the Adora Inn again!

We had a wonderful stay at Adora Inn! The hosts were so warm and welcoming, the inn was charming and cozy, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. It’s within walking distance to all the cute shops and restaurants in town, which was perfect. Would absolutely stay here again!

A gracious stay in a house that has kept its charm for over 100 years. It was a pleasure to spend a couple nights in a house that has worn more than a century so beautifully. This large early-1900s home still has the generous proportions and quiet character of its time—nothing cramped, nothing hurried. Our room and bathroom were immaculate and genuinely lovely: clean in the way that reassures you rather than startles you, and appointed with a care that made the historic setting feel both authentic and comfortable. John and Arthur are hosts of the best kind—warm, attentive, and completely without fuss. Their homemade breakfasts deserve five stars. Generous, thoughtfully prepared, and clearly made with pride rather than convenience. The location could hardly be better. Two short blocks from the shopping district, and nearly everything else is an easy walk. We left rested, well fed, and already hoping to return.

Breakfast was excellent. Freshly prepared with care to individual needs and tastes. Rooms were spotless, cared for daily. Common rooms accommodated our group nicely. I cant say enough positive comments about the inn, our hosts, the food or the service. Also convenient to walk almost everywhere downtown. Close to pickleball courts.
