"We enjoyed our stay. It’s in a quiet location and nicely situated on the lake. The only issue we had was although there was a kureg coffee maker there wasn’t a drip coffee pot. We were an unprepared and had to improvise. The tap water was also off color but it did have a water cooler to supply drinking water so no issues there."

Cozy, peaceful cabin retreat with hot tub

"This is a lovely place that seems like new. The kitchen was very well stocked including lots of spices and coffee, etc. It wasn't warm enough for us to sit on the front porch, which we would have enjoyed. We loved having the hot tub. It's off the beaten path, and we were glad that we'd brought all the food we needed. The bed was comfortable. We recommend it as a nice getaway."

"The place was really nice. The only issue was that everyone in our group loves to cook. Unfortunately, the oven would only broil. So baking or roasting anything was impossible. But, we adapted. We would definitely go back. We were a group of 7. There was plenty of room to spread out. We also swam every day."

Rustic Cabin Retreat on Rangeley Lake!

"Overall the cabin served the purpose of lake access which slept us and our kids and their partners. The photos do not show the cabin that partially obstructs the view of the lake from this cabin. . While this is one of the Rangeley Lakeside Cabins, this one is set back from the lake as opposed to most of the others that are much closer. There is some noise from the main road into town and you cannot hear the lake itself from this cabin. Most of the others seemed to have chairs out front and their own firepit. There was only a picnic table outside of ours and no firepit. There did seem to be a communal fire pit down by the lake but we had to “steal” outdoor chairs from an unoccupied cabin’s porch so we could sit around it as it only had 2 chairs. The kitchen was newly built and really functional and the bathroom looked newly built as well. Generally things were clean but the sliders out to the porch overlooking the lake not only had fingerprints all over them but what looked like splashes of some sort of liquid on them so we cleaned them ourselves. And when one of us misplaced a shirt and looked under the bed, there was a lot of dust and a shirt and trash (a plastic bag) left by previous occupants. The host was responsive and we appreciated all the games and coffee filters and spices etc. Again, the cabin served its purpose but next time we may stay in a cabin closer to the lake and farther from the road as we have in previous years."
