"A spectacular cabin with flawless attention to detail. Every amenity is perfectly thought out—they've provided absolutely everything needed for an effortless vacation. Highly reommend!"

"The listing for this was incredibly misleading. Careful pictures to not show the connected cabins, and not specifically stating that the entire outside area is a shared space, was very disappointing to realize when we arrived. We had booked this place specifically to have a romantic weekend getaway in the woods, and it was the perfect weather to be outside, but a family of 4 had booked the other cabin and of course they would want to spread out and enjoy the outside. The quarters are so close, we ended up not being able to even leave our cabin without an awkward interaction. These cabins themselves are small too, so staying inside felt cramped and we had to have all the curtains closed to have any privacy from our unexpected roommates seated 10 feet from our huge glass door. Also the bathroom has mold in it and water damage from the extremely leaky shower and who knows if the hot tub was any good because we didn't get the opportunity to try it, but I think the kids had fun, good for them. Also, there is absolutely no cell phone service so make sure to download and save your map and access key code before you lose service, and if you arrive in busy season, make sure to plan for waiting in line in your car for about 2 hours to get into the road that leads to this cabin. Horrendous experience at this listing, I don't recommend this rental unless you need to book both cabins anyways."

"Be prepared to not find anyone at the office, but someone will show up once you call their number and leave a message. Very old mansion that needs much TLC. Staff once accessible, are very friendly and helpful. Canceling a reservation is very difficult, as they demand a 14 day notice. The cabin we were given had a lot of standard amenities, but just not enough and very small."

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Kent and Kari’s cabin. It was exactly as described. It feels like you are very secluded, especially in the back by the fire pit but there is a road and neighbors( in case you don’t like isolation ). It is very quiet and you can’t hear road noise from inside. We enjoyed some wine and simply listening to the birds and wind blowing through the trees. My husband is a hot tub guy so he enjoyed it very much and I LOVED the sauna. It was a wonderful wind down to the day. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and things you might need to cook. The bed is probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on while vacationing. The bedding and pillows are also great. As a person with sleeping problems, this was fantastic! The bedroom is upstairs, and it’s a bit of a steep climb. I mention this in case you have mobility issues. The communication was also great with very helpful information to ensure you have the best time. We would love to stay at the nest again."

"Meticulously decorated, but too many display items hindering useful space. Too many fur rugs, trip hazard. antique tub is so tall, and without rail or grab bar, dangerous. Lucky we did not need a shower that day. A desk in the huge Walk-in closet would be wonderful. We did enjoy the tremendous and well maintained lush garden, and vases of arranged flowers everywhere. The breakfast and treats items are generous and thoughtful."
