"We stayed here for four nights while visiting Morro Bay and overall had a pleasant stay. The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have a quiet place to come back and relax after spending the day exploring the beaches and town. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The location is another big plus—it’s close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to get around. The hotel does have a few downsides, though. During our stay, the washing machine was out of service, so only the dryer was available. The only vending machine on-site was for drinks, and bottled sodas were $3 each. I was also disappointed that Expedia listed complimentary breakfast and an on-site hot tub, but neither of those amenities was actually available. Another surprise was that the room photos showed a dresser for storing clothes. It appears the hotel has remodeled and replaced it with a beautiful granite countertop for the refrigerator and microwave, along with a matching granite shelf beneath the TV. The updates look nice and modern, but since we were staying for several nights, we really missed having drawers or somewhere to unpack our clothes. The property itself doesn’t offer much in the way of views. The small patio out back overlooks the neighboring Motel 6, so if you’re looking for scenic accommodations, this probably isn’t the place. Still, being so close to everything Morro Bay"
