Stroll through the historic downtown square where local shops and the town's famous watermelon festival create small-town magic each summer. Outdoor enthusiasts can fish for bass at Lake Monticello or explore hiking trails at nearby Byrd Lake Natural Area.
We were in town for a family wedding and the hotel was a nice, quiet place to stay. The pool was a great place for the kids to cool off. Our only complaint was the breakfast. There was no fruit, or yogurt, eggs or even whole wheat bread for toast and only sweet cereal. A few healthier breakfast options would be a great improvement. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

For the price paid it was great. I'm used to more upscale accommodations but due to circumstances I had to stay here this weekend. The manager and staff were friendly and worked to get me everything I required. Of all economy priced places I've stayed, this is one of the best.

Stopped on our way to Branson for a one night layover. Staff were polite, friendly and informative. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Easy access to the hotel from Highway 65.

The manager Jay was super friendly and gave us restaurants rant suggestions and tourist brochures when we checked in. The room was attractive and clean and the breakfast was adequate.
