Older hotel, still the best option
This really is the best option you'll find if you're going to stay in Crossett. It is located in a quiet area next to a nice neighborhood. We've stayed about once a year for the past several years and with each visit, we can see some small improvement. The rooms are clean, the television and fridge are modern. The furniture and decor is a bit dated, though, and the fixtures show the hotel's age. Another review mentioned a musty smell in the rooms and while we've noticed it once before - the town boasts an enormous paper mill which has an impact on pretty much everything. Our latest stay, the room smelled fresh and everything was clean. The wi-fi was reliable and free.
Amenities (snack machines, the breakfast, anything other than a clean quiet comfortable room) are very basic but the staff is exceptionally helpful and responsive.
