This stay was so awful it has taken me a year to be able to face writing the review for it. The room was terrible (we arrived to a broken door that didn't lock and it wasn't much better maintained inside) the staff were unpleasant (one of them actually said to me if I wanted better service I should have stayed on the other side of the hotel), the food was disappointing. Shared areas of the property were well maintained hence the three stars as opposed to one.

It was my first time staying with this company since my friend suggested them but I will never return to them. I had to pay a lot more money to switch me to another Iberostar (Grand). They made me wait for couple of hrs to switch and Paid $700 as they said these resorts are the same but under different managements. I was celebrating a birthday at their new location (Grand) but they could not find a candle for a 2x2 inch cake. What a shame. I hope someone look into this.

The staff were all great, at all times they were nothing but nice and helpful, the bartenders kept the drinks strong at all times! The resort itself could use some work. The pictures that are online are obviously from when the resort was first opened, as it does not look like that anymore. There was mold around the shower heads, the toilets would run all night if not flushed properly, the balcony posts were cracked, the lighting in the rooms was terrible, the TV did not have a way to access streaming services, and the bedside table was was chipped away with the lining peel away. As I stated in the beginning the staff members nice and friendly at all times, no matter what but the resort itself does need work. The night club was very fun, but we did have to walk to resorts over to the sister property, the nightclub stays open until 2 or 3am but the gold carts to drive over to the sister resort stop running at 11:00pm. Because of the work that needs to be done this is not a place that I would stay at again or recommend to friends or family to stay at.

Will never stay here again. If you don’t slam the balcony door to where it seals the air conditioner won’t work. And there is a sign on balcony door not to close balcony from outside. And if you do you can’t open it to get back in. Really!!! In the building we was in there was a wedding 3 out of 4 nights right in front of our room, so noisy and made sitting on balcony impossible. At the beach there was so many locals selling junk,parked in canoes you had to walk around them to get in ocean. One day big argument between resort security and several locals. The money you pay to stay there you should not be exposed to this. The lighting is terrible in rooms. Half the plug in outlets didn’t work. We have been to Jamaica 12 times in the past 20 years and this visit was bad. Jamaica is a beautiful place but this resort needs work!!!

I like the hotel. It was very clean and well staffed. We did have issue with checking in and took a while which I wasn’t happy about. The resort has excellent food selection to choose from and I loved every minute of it. They have 4 different restaurants plus buffet to chose from . Remember that o reserve for the Restaurant ahead of the time. Housekeeping service was great. The photography shop was great and I loved the pictures we took with my family. The customer Service Channel was so great and helped us a lot! Thank you for that!

I have been to various "all inclusive" hotels in the past and this one, by far, had the best food! Alcoholic drinks also didn't taste watered down. The staff was helpful and most tours pick up right from the lobby. Only negative: there is a bed of sea grass across the bed of majority of the sea, with just small patches cleared out and sandy. However, there are no seaweeds, foul smells, or other negative effects to the sandy beach, outside of the water.

Food was great. Rooms were clean. Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not use the pools much at all as the beach was beautiful, calm, warm waters with great snorkeling. Dive shop ( Dressel divers) right next to the hotel on the beach was super convenient for included water sports and any excursions. We had some great dives. My only recommendation would be for required hand sanitizer before entering the buffet/ or given a plate. I would have loved more live reggae music- we heard two bands in the week we were there. We loved it and would recommend to friends and family!

Limited staff. Took forever to get a drink all the time. Not enough bartenders or waitresses at the pool area. Bathrooms were dirty and rarely cleaned. Our room didn’t even get turned over me of the days. They built a stage in the lobby bar so every day at happy hour you heard construction workers working. No live music. Just a very average experience at best.

I enjoyed my time at the resort. The staff are amazingly friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is older but maintained (the lobby smelled heavenly). I loved the different food options as there were 5 restaurants on-site BUT I did not like that the restaurants close at 10 pm. You can get a snack in the lounge but the choices are very limited (sandwiches, hot dogs, patties). The drinks were good and the bartenders can make any cocktail BUT you have to pay additional for top shelf liquors.There was a mini bar in the room that had beer and soda. The mini bars are refilled daily. I love that they put these glass containers in the rooms for water…there are dispensers on each floor with purified water for refilling. The pool is amazing and large. There is a swim up bar too. You are directly on the beach which was a plus BUT be prepared to have people trying to sell you stuff…I did appreciate that they were not harassing after you said no thanks. The resort is close to the airport, restaurants and shopping BUT you will need transportation. If you are looking for a private tour guide please consider Sunlit Adventures Jamaica Tours. They are the BEST!! They provide private tours and the tour guide stay with you for every activity to make sure you are safe and enjoying your activity. They cater to your every need. This made me and my party feel extremely safe. Overall this is a great hotel with many amenities and great customer service. I would definitely recommend this resort.

If I could give this place a higher rating I would. The staff are so incredibly welcoming and friendly. The resort is super clean and there is so much to offer. Activities during the day and entertainment at night. I received several warnings for danger but never once felt unsafe. We will be heading back again

The property is well kept and very quiet. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The service at the buffet is basically self serve including drinks. The rooms could use some updating. There weren’t enough outlets for our phone chargers and none of the drawers to our dresser would close. Also, the ice machine on our floor did not work.
