"Room was a mess, stains on the sheets, food stains on the walls. Non smoking room smelled of smoke. Noticed food wrappers and food behind the nightstand. I contemplated just sleeping in my car. "

"The little pond cabin was exactly what we were looking for! A quiet place to disconnect for the weekend and enjoy some time in nature! Lynn was the best host! Very responsive to all our questions, and even took time to take us on a tour of her beautiful property. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay at her place again. If you’re thinking about booking this place, do it! You won’t be disappointed! We had a great weekend. "

"Think large fishing cabin. The cabin was well stocked. Plenty of towels, shampoo, and soap. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. There were a few bugs but it is out in the country. The dog next door was a bit intimidating. The place could use some upgrades but overall it was a good stay."

"The room was heavily damaged, several holes in the walls, burn marks all over the bathtub, etc. It smelled as if no one had even cleaned it after the last guest. Nobody was here for check in... I had to call someone and wait for 15 minutes until he showed up. They charged extra for using a debit card AND charged me $5 for the reservation itself. I did not get that back. 1/5 do NOT recommend."

"Uniquely positioned lovely spot in the country on the Ogechee River. We’ve had two enjoyable stays and look forward to the next visit to Jewell. "
