Clean room and en suite, lovely breakfast and an attentive and very sociable host. I highly recommend Holly House.

The room was fine, it was clean but a little dated. The beds (2 singles) though were very uncomfortable. One had the springs poking through. On asking for a mattress topper or a different mattress, the response was that this was not possible. Mattress toppers were later added but why indicate this is not possible when it is? We were cold on the first night and requested a blanket. We were informed that the hotel did not have any blankets! After considering moving hotel we were given a second duvet each which did the job.

Smaller than expected especially for 2. Location: brilliant. Rest: as expected
