"We enjoyed our long weekend at this home, but there were some negatives we feel we need to share for the sake of other potential customers.•When we arrived, we noticed 15-20 sticky, drip spots on the kitchen floor leading from the refrigerator to the dining table. I dampened a paper towel to wipe up the spots and was surprised to see the paper towel was completely brown with dirt from just one of the floorboards, and each floorboard I wiped in the path of spots was the same. Basically, the floor didn’t appear to have been washed in a while, and there were food wrappers under the couch. We expect the home to be clean when paying a cleaning fee.•We were surprised that there wasn’t a top sheet on the bed, and the bedspread was pilly on the underside.•Thistles were everywhere in the backyard. This isn’t a yard where you would want to play yard games.•When I attempted to launch my kayak in the lake behind the house, I sunk into the mud up to my shins trying to get out into deep enough water to board the kayak and finally had to give up. I specifically selected this home because it advertised being between two lakes and listed there were kayaks available, so ideally the home description would have been updated to mention the lake wasn’t accessible at the moment.•Everything went smoothly with check-in and using the smart lock on the door.•Annika provided a quick response to a couple of minor questions.•The location felt remote while being only 8 minutes away from city."

"Amazing Staff & Experience We had such an amazing trip to Cragun’s Resort! The resort itself was beautiful, but what really made our experience special was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You could tell they really cared about making sure guests had a great experience. Honestly, the staff made the trip for us. Their kindness and positive attitudes made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. We had such a wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back! Thank you to the entire Cragun’s team for helping make our trip so memorable! ❤️"

"We were so happy with our stay - the property has a good amount of space and several rooms for rest and entertainment. The seclusion and privacy of the outdoor space is amazing, and we were so happy to find that the lake was cleared enough to swim near the beach. The opportunity to use the pontoon for fishing was greatly appreciated as well. Would definitely return here in future!"

"This was a wonderful vacation spot!! We had a group of 9 (2 families with kids) and there was lots of room for everyone in the cabin. The yard is large and perfect for yard games. We had a Badminton net set up that we brought from home and everyone had a blast enjoying the outdoors. There are 2 canoes that we used for some morning fishing in the little bay the cabin is set back in. The boat launch was in good shape and we enjoyed tubing on Platte Lake nearly every day we were there. I can't say enough positive things about the property, it really was amazing!! Thank you again for making your cabin available for our family vacation!"
