« Amazing 3-night stay! The A-frame is perfect- decorated beautifully and so cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. « Cozy, cute, comfy, private, and tranquil indeed. Didn’t want to stay in busy Lake Placid, which was not too far for me. The sauna and hot tub were a huge plus. 5 stars for two nights. If more nights, it probably would be a 4 star for me because it was not really roomy for me, a big guy. The host communicated and responded well. You can use hosts’ two small kayaks and enjoy paddling in Mirror Lake! »

« I planned a surprise birthday trip for my husband and our two friends, and this place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we turned onto the road, we knew we were in for a treat—the lake’s calmness was so soothing. It’s incredibly peaceful. It was just what we needed. « Our stay at Giant’s View cabin was a one of adventure and tranquility! The cabin itself was very warm and inviting. The views of the mountains were spectacular! Our favorite part outside of hiking and fishing was rocking in the comfy chairs in the screened in porch. The weather was hot while we were there but we stayed cool by utilizing the provided fans. We even got to see a family of deer crossing in front of the cabin. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away...

« We could not have asked for a better setting for relaxing away from it all. Cabin was very well equipped allowing us to prepare our own meals. The location right at the water with its own beach was ideal for reading a book or casting a line. Property owners were very responsive and perfect hosts! I highly recommend this location and would return if the opportunity was to present itself. »

« We stayed for 2 nights to ski at Whiteface. It was less than 20 minutes to the mountain. The property had plenty of room for our party of 6. There were also a variety of restaurants within less than 10 minutes drive.The property was clean and communication with the host was clear and quick.We especially enjoyed the game room. I highly recommend it. »

« Our stay at Tacklebox was lovely. The cabin is spotlessly clean and very cozy with thoughtful amenities you would expect at a luxury resort: a beautiful sauna, Japanese soaking tub, nice bath products, outdoor grill, outdoor shower, a firepit, 2 kayaks, a canoe, etc. Access to Lake Champlain from a private dock was easy and the view across the lake from the cabin's deck was spectacular, especially at sunset. All in all, we had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Tacklebox. »

« Wow, what a beautiful place to stay! Surrounded with Gods beautiful creation. Cabin was perfect,clean and stocked with everything we needed. Beds comfortable and cozy. The view of the lake from the kitchen table was gorgeous. We enjoyed boating on the lake , sun bathing and fishing! We also enjoyed visiting with the owners. They made sure our stay was a great one! I am very thankful for their kindness. My husband and I will be back , next time with the whole family!! »

« We stayed for Labor day weekend, and had a great time. The area is beautiful. The house is right on the water, and kayaks were available for our use. The house was clean and comfortable for our three adults, and one dog (It could hold more).
