« We stayed here for a few days to explore the New River Gorge. Having never been to the area before, I realized later that there are places that we almost booked that would've been very far from the places we wanted to see. This location was just right - close to Oak Hill and Fayetteville for shops/dining, and 10 minutes or so to the New River Gorge Bridge. We did several hikes, using the house as a "base camp" and it worked out perfect. We drove south once to the Grandview Overlook, which was...

« Fantastic cabin for my family - including 2 teens! Everyone had their own space and privacy and the WiFi and cellular service were great. The stream across the street is beautiful! It was only about 20 minutes or so to some great restaurants and a grocery store. The location was beautiful and there were great places to walk with our dog right near the cabin. Close enough to New River Gorge to enjoy the park but not at all crowded. We were looking to get away from stress and this was just what...

« The cabin is well maintained and everything was in working order. A couple of items that would help would be the access to the stairs from the driveway (maybe add one or two more stepping stones from the drive to the path up to the stairs. Another thing that would have been nice was more comfortable seating in the TV area. We had a rainy day and stayed in to watch TV/movies and found it difficult to be totally comfortable.Although not the owner's issue, the roads in and out from the cabin are...
