"This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place."

"Accurate description and pictures. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, my two little dogs and myself. Very clean, and all the necessities for a short visit. Very easy to get into the cabin, no issues with using the tv/wifi or finding the cabin. Owner sent clear directions on going to cabin, getting into cabin, and recommendations in the area. Parking was steps away from the door, making it easy to unload our car. Friendly neighborhood dog that came to relax with me on the cute porch....

"The cabin is close enough to enjoy New River Gorge National Park and away enough to be left alone to enjoy the river and Mountains."

"Very very nice- appreciate hot tub ready for every day- toilet paper and paper towel soap etc already available was real nice- consider a box of Kleenex would be a nice touch but that is not a complaint- directions on the fireplace would be nice unless it’s not meant to be used- thanks for being a very nice part of our beautiful trip"

"What you see is what you get. Just a comfortable, relaxing place to stay that's close to Fayetteville and several parks. We slept very well and the hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking."

"We loved the location. The only bad thing was the driveway was too steep to park on so you have to park at the bottom and carry everything up when you get there and down when you leave. The house was great and the views are even better."

"We had a family trip to NRG and needed a bigger place to stay than a bunch of hotel rooms. This cabin was almost the perfect size (the dining table could have been bigger, only seats 4). Lights flickered during a storm but never went out, but we did lose wifi. Wish we'd planned a longer stay to really take advantage of all the amenities. We'll definitely keep it in mind if we plan another trip!"

"What a beautiful place! Waking up to the sounds of Paint Creek was just what we needed. Our cabin was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Ron w/Paint Creek vacation homes was so welcoming, and he was 100% available for anything we needed. We will definitely be staying there every time we come back!"

"This condo was great for a group of 7 friends traveling to WV to go whitewater rafting at Ace Adventure. It was only about 15-20 from there. The location is great and it is very quiet there. They had everything we needed. My only small complaint is that we arrived at night and the house was totally dark and no lights came on to see until we stepped on the porch. I would recommend that the owner put some lighting up to make it easier to find in the dark."
