"If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful house, this will do nicely. Very secluded and quiet but close enough to everything you'd want to do. If hiking and rocky shorelines are your thing, better spend some extra time there...lots of that. There are some "touristy" things to do in town...boat tours, shops, restaurants etc. Tobermory Brew Company was our favorite...lamb burger was excellent. FYI...don't ask for medium or rare burgers. Its apparently a no no with the...

"The name of the property really suits. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night which was followed by a bonfire and smores. Daytime activities included a lot of kayaking and trips to local shops. Would definitely go again. "

"My friends and I had a great time at this location. When we arrived the house was clean and had proper amenities. The rooms were adequate and cozy. There were fresh linens and pillows. The lake front view was our favorite. The water was fresh and it was quite shallow. The viewing dock was fabulous and allowed us rest during our swim. We all enjoyed out stay. "

"Pros: Great location on the peninsula. Beautiful sunsets, great kayaking, close to town. Cons: In desperate need of repair. Broken window cranks, broken or missing closet doors, holes in bathroom walls, sliding doors stuck/difficult to open. Unkept property. Construction debris in back yard, old outdoor cushions laying on ground, yard covered (and I do mean covered) in goose poop. Low quality and/or missing amenities. Thin and stained towels, only 1 garbage bag, soap dispensers that (I believe)...

"It was worth the price. The place was modern nicely renovated well kept and clean. We stayed for one night with friends. The place had all cooking equipment and a bbq machine to easily make our meals. The waterfront in the back was nice in the evening and early morning. Clean towels. Clean bedrooms with comfortable bedding sand pillows. Washer and dryer were helpful after coming from the beach. About 20 minutes drive to Tobermory downtown. "The cottage’s location is stunning; right on the lack. The set up for the fire pit is nice and everything is easy to locate. The host has a nice organized portal that you gain access to only after fully paying the money, it lets you know exactly where everything is and what are the rules. Cons: The couches need some serious deep cleaning as they smelled like feet and musty. Even the rugs seemed like they haven’t been deep cleaned for a while.
