Our stay was not that good. The room was cold. There was no T.V and the room smelled weird.

A table in the bathroom would be nice. Maybe a hot plate or something to cook on. The bed was not the greatest. Beautiful property and the experience was overall very good.

Mike and Kim were extremely friendly, Kim met us upon arrival, gave us details in things to do while we stayed and Mike came to check on us our second night and was super pleasant!

Clean and comfortable unit

Nice location, close to town, clean and comfortable. I would have liked a few extra blankets, we only stayed one night, so I never asked for them. Convenient kitchenette was nice too. I’d definitely stay here again

Cozy Cabin

Very comfortable cabin within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Tobermory. Pleasant outdoor space with fire pit and grill. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker ensure that it’s easy to prepare simple meals.

Pro: very clean and decorated cute along with great parking for a car and large truck. Owner very nice and willing to help in any way. Con: advertised as a cabin but mostly like a small hotel room. One bed one bath constituted the cabin actually was one small room. Value for money was not there, however, did not check going rates for hotels in Tobermory and it was very busy in Tobermory at the time.

First time to visit Tobermory . We stayed at the Mikanaak cottage ( Mad Trapper) . Checking in and out was a breeze. Mike (owner) is easy to talk to and handle issues efficiently . Place is close to main town. Few minutes walk only. It’s a plus bec they charge for parking in town. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great place-high price not warranted for issues

First - the check-in process was very easy and very friendly. Overall I would stay here again. However, there was a few cleanliness issues, towels are folded and left wet, the fridge leaked (which was brought up to the owner’s attention). The shower curtain rods and bathroom mirror were rusty. I don’t overly agree with the price we paid because of the aforementioned issues.
