Have to walk closer to the office. Beds were fine but, there is no side table or shelf to put your phone on for time and alarm. Good room darkening front curtains, sheer curtains in the small kitchen, no door, so when you need to be up at 5 for the ferry, good luck getting to sleep if it is still light out. Plumbing is very marginal, with patience you can get the right temperature. Full size fridge with a freezer, great to freeze your cooler packs. We went there on a family trip over the weekend. I found the location and service to be excellent, and would highly recommend this place. It is quite close to where all the action is - the harbor, if you want to head out to the Flowerpot island, or the visitor's center. The motel, run by a sweet old couple, is on highway 6\. The bathroom had an odd layout with two doors opening from different parts of the room. It has a nice sitting area in the back. Although did not have much interaction with the proprietors they were nice and courteous. Despite being on the main road, did not hear much road noise. I forgot my iPhone when we left and the owner followed us in his car to bring it. I didn't notice that I forgot it until he came to us. Awesome people!!!!
