« A memorable stay for the best reasons. If any criticism, I feel the bathroom taps in our room were very difficult to turn, as they were narrow and round. Also there were no grab rails on the wall facing the bath, so for an elderly customer, the process of getting out of the bath was somewhat hazardous.

« The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home.
Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :) »

« Nous avons énormément apprécié ce séjour dans cet hôtel SPA historique de la merveilleuse ville de Buxton. Tout était parfait. La chambre était très confortable, très bien équipée. La partie SPA est très vaste avec 3 bassins dont un a un accès extérieur, 3 saunas différents, un haman.
Enfin le petit déjeuner continental et/ou anglais est excellent. Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement. »

« Impressive in arrival this countryside hotel and conference centre at first glance appeals.
There is also ample parking.
Many hotels allow early check in if one arrives ahead of check in time. Moat House staff were less accommodating and seemed to have a hard and fast rule. However, when we sat in the lobby with our suitcases and backpacks half an hour ahead of check in time, they quickly and pleasantly attended to us.
The rooms are attractive but for cobwebs on the ceiling in both bedroom...
