This was listed as a boutique hotel. It may have been a boutique hotel at some point in the past but now really needs some serious TLC. We did get clean towels and bed made daily but I don't think the floor was swept at all in the 4 nights we were there. The plastic glasses were never replaced. The staff were polite and seemed to try hard

Kevin and Leslie were wonderful hosts who served us a delicious breakfast - a most welcome treat after the typical hotel fare. The house is a beautifully renovated period home with large spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the cleanliness. Kevin loves Nova Scotia and gave us many great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit.

Attractive Victorian House that’s well maintained. Rooms are on the second floor. The lights from a building across the road were on all night—the shades helped, but still a distraction. Updated bathroom. No hair dryer. No TV. Wifi was slow. The owners were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Easy walk to the 3 restaurants in town. Sadly, Pictou is kind of a depressing town, though everyone was very nice. Not much there to see or do. We did a hike outside of town.
