This is a different kind of hostel. The beds have their own pod and the outer pods have a window and curtain at your head. The beds are clean but they are short so anyone under 5’6” wouldn’t have a problem stretching out but I don’t see how a taller person would be comfortable. The pod is only a twin size bed with a storage drawer underneath to put your luggage. You can sleep in a same-sex room with 10-16 other people or in a co-ed room, your choice. But just know, you will hear other people around you. The place is on a pretty lonely looking street, not much lighting outside and there is no parking lot that I could see. This is a decent spot if you want a cheap alternative. I’m just not a fan of hostels so I probably won’t go to a place like this again.

We loved it! It was clean, thoughtful, and centrally located. We stayed with young kids and booked the one bedroom suite. It was so nice to have a bigger space so we didn’t feel like we were crowding each other. The bathroom was also beautiful. Since our room was on the main floor, they provided a noise machine which we found incredibly thoughtful. I was a little worried that concierge was not on site, but I worried for nothing! They run a very great system! We will definitely stay again while in Salem.
