Many issues with the room, door did not lock or unlock, toilet wouldn't flush- had to have maintenance come up many times. Cleanliness of rooms was very poor. Staff was less than pleasant when asked for assistance.

We stayed 4 days in Newport Beach resort. First day they didn’t clean the room it was dusty. 2nd day fire alarm beeped 8 times without fire or windows open (battery issue). 3rd day water was leaking from AC and my kid slipped due to wet floor and had bruises. We had to activate room access card every time we went out, it was hectic as we went to door and try few times and come down to lobby to activate those cards every single time.

For the price of the hotel it needs cleaning! Get here go to our room and walk in to in dirty. Both the bed and sofa bed were out and clearly slept in. You could obviously tell room had not been done. Get to a second room, go to pull the sofa bed out and there is a USED CONDOM. Not sure if the housekeeping staff were trained to properly clean the rooms. Staff, there was a young lady who checked us in who kind.

The property price was good. They are remodeling and the food options are limited to the pool area and a restaurant at the peer. Parking is across the street and they don't offer valet parking.
